Donatello Color Changing Illuminated Spheres Project
The senior designer of Berns Landscaping in Cincinnati, Ohio, contacted us when developing concepts for a landscape project for an outpatient/overnight care facility for the terminally ill. Patients of the facility are assisted in rehab after surgery, and learn how to care for and manage their condition themselves, while they are still able to do so.
Able to withstand extreme cold weather and wind chill, color changing Donatello Illuminated Spheres were installed in the grounds—creating a tranquil element day and night—while providing a functional light source.
Each of our illuminated spheres is made from rotation-molded polyethylene - a durable material that won't crack or peel. Polyethylene spheres can be utilized for interior or exterior applications as a stunning translucent ball accent. Picture a light up sphere arrangement among seating at a restaurant, peppered along the walkway at a tropical resort or in a contemporary event space. Illuminated spheres come fitted for compact fluorescent lighting but can be ordered to LED light configurations by request.
