Damage Claims or Shortages

We take great care in inspecting and packaging all products before shipping, but unfortunately, damages during transit may still occur. To ensure that the carrier is held liable in the event of a damaged shipment, we kindly ask that you follow the steps below:

Count all boxes immediately upon receipt.

1. Inspect the exterior of each package for any visible damage.
2. If you suspect any damage, please open the cartons in the presence of the delivery driver.
3. If you notice any damage, indicate the nature and extent of the damage on the bill of lading or freight bill. If you are unwilling to accept a damaged package, please note that the box is being refused due to damage.

In some cases, damages may not be immediately apparent and may only be discovered after the driver has left. In such cases, please contact us immediately at 1-888-320-0626

Please note that any damage claims or shortages must be reported to Planters Unlimited within 5 days of receiving the merchandise. Failure to notify us within this time frame may result in the inability to replace any products free of charge, as time constraints for filing damage claims with the carrier may have passed. Furthermore, please keep all shipping boxes, packing materials, and damaged items, as the carrier may need to inspect them before issuing any reimbursement or credit.

Return Requests

Return Policy: Most items are custom made or made to order and are therefore non-returnable. Items that are regular stock items are returnable within 15 days of receipt of shipment as long as it is in its original condition. A full refund for the merchandise portion of the order will be issued for items meeting this condition. We can only refund shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
