The natural pitting on the surface of the Nepal bowl gives it an elegant weathered look that is reminiscent of antique Asian or European pottery. However, these round low planters are crafted from a much sturdier stuff. Intended to look just like real stone- from the color to the texture- our faux stone planters are actually cast molded from glass fiber reinforced concrete. This durable material mimics the visual appeal of stone or concrete without the drawbacks. GFRC is incredibly lightweight, making these large planter bowls perfect for placement upon pillars, pedestals, low walls, and tables. They can also be used on rooftops, balconies, and terraces without weight worries. The addition of glass fiber also makes our Nepal planters more durable than the average crockery. They will resist cracking, warping, and chipping in the most demanding outdoor locations. You can also count on fade- and rot-resistance.
