Ornamental Arch Faux Balcony

Blending classic design with modern function, our Ornamental Arch Faux Balcony adds architectural character while serving as an elegant queue management railing. Crafted from durable materials and fully customizable, it’s ideal for defining spaces and guiding foot traffic in hospitality and commercial settings.

As part of the highly anticipated renovation of Cedar Point’s Grand Pavilion and surrounding Boardwalk, Planters Unlimited was brought in to design and fabricate custom metal railings that enhance both the functionality and visual appeal of the space. These bespoke railings were crafted to define walkways, guide the flow of foot traffic through the dining areas, and contribute to a cohesive, elevated guest experience. Positioned along key pathways and gathering points, the railings provide a sense of structure while allowing for open sightlines and natural movement throughout the space. Their elegant, durable construction complements the Grand Pavilion’s architectural style, reinforcing the sense of grandeur as guests transition from the Boardwalk into the beautifully restored entertainment and dining venue.

Designed by Louis and Partners Design, the renovation includes a full-service kitchen and dining space on the first floor, with a second-level bar and expansive patio that offers breathtaking lake views. The adjacent public Boardwalk - a wide concrete promenade running beneath the Pavilion and along the beach - has been revitalized into a more inviting and accessible destination, enhanced by our thoughtfully designed railings. This project reflects the growing trend of combining utility with aesthetic impact in outdoor public spaces, where elements like custom railings are not just safety features, but key components of placemaking. Planters Unlimited is proud to have contributed to Cedar Point’s vision of blending timeless charm with modern functionality, helping create an engaging and memorable experience for guests of all ages.
